Retailers of US-made Products@Robert_Beecher smart, I was shocked to learn about just how imbalanced our trade was with the eu on so many products. I’ll definitely not be buying several products any longer after learning this.

What Do YOU Care About in U.S. Manufacturing?Couldn’t agree more, we must bolster our MFG base and ensure they have a workforce behind them. All of this starts with the school system in my opinion. Get trade schools going and teach kids that higher education is one path but not THE only path.

Top Reshoring Needs?Skilled Labor is the biggest hurdle I see. Our mfg base has an aging workforce and no one coming in to fill the void. We need an immediate course correction on schooling/trade schools if we’re going to be a mfg economy again.

What’s the Most Overhyped Trend in U.S. Manufacturing Right Now?In my opinion the most over hyped product in mfg is desktop 3d printing, while they have a place in the market, I believe they were over hyped and way over priced for the value.
